About
From Cuero, Texas.
Where I've been
I grew up in Cuero, Texas. It's a small Texas town where I got to play a little bit of everything: soccer, baseball, football, track, golf, and even tennis for a year. Thanks to supportive parents, we got to try it all, and that is where a lot of my competitive, team-oriented spirit comes from. I graduated from Cuero High School in the summer of 2014 and then went to Baylor, where I always knew I'd go, because my whole family went to Baylor.
In the summer of 2015 I worked as a technician at a local telecom shop, installing wiring for network closets, security cameras, PA systems, and phone systems, and going out on service calls to customers. It gave me a baseline understanding of networking that led into my schooling. From 2016 to 2018, I worked in the Baylor Bookstore Technology Department, helping students and faculty troubleshoot their devices and selling new devices, so I got to stay up to date and play with the latest and greatest hardware. Between that job and the telecom shop, I learned planning, organization, and customer service.
I finished my B.S. in Computer Science in December 2018 and joined Accenture in February 2019 in Dallas. I transferred to the New York office when I moved there in November 2020, in the heart of the pandemic. You can question my logic there. New York is where I grew the most, personally and professionally, and I got the chance to travel a good amount around the world. I initially came back to Texas toward the end of 2024, debating whether I wanted to move home, and in the summer of 2025 I decided to make it official. That is when my dad and I spent sixty hours driving from New York back to Texas over Father's Day to move the rest of my stuff down. I work out of the Austin office now and live outside Waco with my wife Emma.
Work and Experience are the Accenture chapters.
Why a legal pad
My dad, Ray, is a lawyer in Cuero who has used yellow legal pads for everything: cases, Sunday school lessons, fantasy football drafts, and Cuero Gobblers football stats. That's why this site looks like one.
Family
I married Emma, from Ennis, Texas, in December 2025, and she runs Christmas at our house while Frankie, our cat, runs the house.
Emma is the head coach of the McLennan Dance Team in Waco, the same program she danced for as a student. In April 2026, the program's 50th year, her team won two national championships, in Jazz and Pom, at Daytona.
